Hammurabi’s was a king in Mesopotamia with laws that were used for just or unjust reasons. Hammurabi’s codes are set of laws that are written down. Hammurabi was the king of Babylon in Mesopotamia. The purpose of Hammurabi’s code was for the citizens of his city-state to follow the laws if not they deal with Hammurabi.
