Hayley Williams Airplanes Analysis
The song Airplanes is by American Rapper B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams, the main vocolist from the band Paramore. The song was recorded in 2009 and later released April 13, 2010. This was the third song made for B.o.B.’s album The adventures of Bobbly Ray followed by Nothin on you (featuring Bruno Mars) and Don’t Let Me Fall. Airplanes hit number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, and internationally, it rose to number one on the UK R&B chart, number two in the European Hot 100 chart and became the twenty-first century most downloaded song in British chart history. The song peaked the top charts in New Zealand and Unitied Kingdom. Additionally, the song made top 10 in Austrailia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.

I remember just going to my grandparents house and that being on the radio. I use to go to my grandparents’ house a lot over the summer. I didn't think much of the song then and I always thought it was a little sad beacuse of the beat and the lyrics. I vaugly remember it being a cloudy grey day too, which added to the mood. In September I was really missing all the older songs as, to be honest, I'm not to much of a fan of the current music now and days. So when I heard this it really brought me back to the days when I was younger! B.o.b had an interesting life growing up. B.o.b’s real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr. and he was born on November 15. He happens to share the same birthday as actress Shailene Woodley who played on divergent movie and The fault in our stars. His hometown is Atlanta Gorgeia. He played the trumpet all through elementary and high school. He became popular after a mix tape he created, and he was signed a record deal in grade 9 for it. He continued to make mixtapes with the record deal for awhile then decided to make a music
