Sperm from a man which consists of millions are ejaculated during sex when the man has an orgasm. It only takes one sperm to fertilise an egg fertilize is when the sperm joins with the gentic material which is in the egg to start a life(baby). Half of most of the fertilized eggs develop to make a baby.alot of the eggs go missing without the women even relising that fertilization even took place.

Within two to three days there are a good amount of new cells to form to create a fertilized egg the size as a pin head. The pack of cells travel to the uterus where there it starts to anchored. The pack of developing cells will then now be called an embryo which is attached to the wall on the uterus by the placenta. As soon as the embryo is attached to the uterus wall it self, the women will not have her menstrual due to a chemical signal stopping it.by eitgh wekks the embryo should have grown between three to four cm long and have a regonisable heartbeat also the beginning of eyes. Ears, amouth, legs and arms. Round about this time the organism growing is called a foetus.
