Health Care Persuasive Speech
Growing up isn’t fun, which is why most adults do whatever it takes to prolong the process. Unfortunately, if you aren’t a fictional character, you will be expected to eventually act like an adult. Whatever you do, just don’t refer to it as that. In this case, that’s something you don’t do to convince people you’re well equipped and prepared for the adult world. So in order to let everyone know you have what it take to survive the real world, here are five things you should know how to do by the age of 18.

Swim. Many animals are born with the ability to swim, but humans on the hand, aren’t. Some people never learn how to swim,

Normally, when we hear the term “health care,” we automatically associate the word with different health care providers. The phrase, however, has a much deeper meaning than that. To clarify, the word “health care” involves the maintenance and improvement of someone's physical and mental health. It just doesn’t include providers.

Although most adults don’t think of these things until it’s too late, understanding how different health care providers can affect your health is vital. For example, if you live a risky lifestyle, you might want to consider life insurance. Life insurance isn’t just senior citizens, it’s for everyone and helps cover expenses when insurance providers won’t.

3. Balance a Checkbook. Managing your money is important to your economic well-being. Right? Well, in order to do this successfully, you must first start by controlling the flow of your funds through your account. With that being said, it’s not enough to simply check your balance online here and there to see where you stand. At the very least, you need to double check and verify all transactions pending in your account. Here are some reasons why balancing your checkbook is a vital

Thank you for mentioning something I was not sure we as potential nurse practitioners are expected to understand or have an opinion on, which is pay. I understand equal pay for equal work. But, like you I would not consider the training I receive as a nurse practitioner to be the same as that of a doctor. To begin with we are not able to perform surgeries even if we were to obtain certification in specialty areas such as wounds or cardiac medicine.…

Thank you for your informative post. You stated “Health care providers, allowing illnesses to worsen, rather than taking care of the issue at the time could potentially lead to a rise in health care cost due to unnecessary doctor visits and care for further complications.” I agree with your statement. The longer health care providers allow patients to suffer without surgery can cause the patient to visit the doctor unnecessarily because of pain. The unnecessary visits could cause an increase in tax and health care for individuals not insured by Medicaid.…

American liberty is a rare diamond in the world. To find a culture like us would be extremely tedious and we most likely would never find one which would have been showered with equivalent blessings as us. The color that our founders splashed into the fabric of our country, is coveted by all no matter how much they deny it. As we all may know, freedom isn't a life without government. Human nature demands a government to keep us all in check and to continue life in relative peace. Too much government and there is tyranny and too little forms anarchy. A gray balance is what the founders sought for. Beyond the expectations of the mocking outside world, they created a government which kept the freedom for people to follow their own desires and…

I am not an adult, I am a child. To be an adult you have to be fiscally responsible, and mature. I am not fiscally responsible because even though I have a small job where I make spending money, I still rely on my parents for all of my needs. I do not fully understand what it means to really save money because the money I make I just spend on wants, not needs. I have yet to do any of these things. Also as a 17 about to be 18 year old boy I am still not fully mature, I still act like a child quite often. An example of this immaturity is I still expect Christmas and birthday presents, I still expect my parents to pay for me when I am with them, and finally I still sometimes act like a little kid when I do not get what I want.…

Healthcare in United States has been a topic of discussion for many generations. Improving the quality and quantity of life is why healthcare delivery has evolved from the traditional family doctor providing the majority of the care to a team of healthcare professionals across a continuum of care. In the past, health care was designed to focus on the major health problems like epidemics. In addition, technology to handle the predominant health problems was virtually nonexistent. Individuals were left on their own resources to pay for doctor’s services. Furthermore, people were actively involved in giving care to their families (Williams & Torrens, 2008).…

    Becoming an Adult

People never seem to quite understand the meaning of being an “adult”. I myself am not very sure of the full meaning of it. It has always seemed to me that age is irrelevant. You can be 12 and understand things better than a 30-year-old or you can be 40, have two PhD’s and still wonder if pigeons are migratory birds. Many people my age think that getting out of their parents’ house is an act of maturity but how does changing your situation prove that you are an “adult”? If they run away from home it is more likely to lose themselves trying to cope alone and underprepared with the difficulties in life. To become an adult you must achieve a separate identity. Still everyone perceives the world and every thought in it through their own consciousness.…
