Title: Health
Specific Purpose: To inform my audience about why the value of health is dear to me.
Central Idea: Today I will discuss the value of health, and how not only mentally, but also emotionally & physically health are important.

Introduction

I. Attention: Have you ever wonder what is going on up in your brain? Well I have…roughly over a thousand times.
II. Audience connection/credibility: Health begins with our mindsets. One must allow our minds to push our physical limits, to be able to control our mental health, and be emotionally stable.
III.Thematic Statement: (Preview of main points): I am beyond thankful to state that I am in control of my mental, emotional, and physical health.

In 2013, I developed an eating disorder; I was anorexic. 1. Support material: To aid my eating disorder I transition to a vegetarian lifestyle. 2. Support material: I’m now been vegan for a year. (Transition/signpost): Now that I have talked about mental health, let's move on to emotional health.

II. Main Point: Second, emotional health is not just about being happy, but also about anxiety and how to manage it. A. For as long as I can remember I have had anxiety. 1. Support material: support material: To compact and aid my condition I allow myself to do things that I enjoy, such as hiking. 2. Support material: Everyday is a journey; take day by day.

(Transition/signpost): Since we talked about mental and emotional health already, let's move on to physical health.

    Before reading this chapter I would have defined health as just being about physical activity because that is all I was taught about health. I was taught that health was about having your body in a good condition and eating the right foods. I did not know that there was so much more behind health.
