The story I chose this week is Hello, Moto by Nnedi Okorafor. The story is about three friends; one, Rain creates three wigs by combining witchcraft and technology. The wigs were created with the intention of benefiting society, but things do not go as planned. Two of the friends, Philo and Coco use the power in the wigs for their own interests. My favorite character in the story is Philo, one of the evil friends, suspected of starting a riot in the North. The two ignoble characters draw life essence from their victims, Philo’s approach is very personal. Philo is a tall, beautiful, sexy woman who enjoys walking through the market, where vegetable sellers offer her their money, and young men stare, with laser eyes she takes
