Cameron walker what happens when you die what is heaven how do you get there what is purgatory same what is hell same

When I die I think that I am going straight to heaven. I say this because of the death of Jesus. When he did Jesus went to hell and freed the ones that had died before and had trusted in him. Thus proving the point that we no longer had to stay in hell until the perfect sacrifice was made. Also when I die I believe that my earthly body will decompose but my spirit shall ask just as the spirits of those who died and believed with the only difference being that it will happen as soon as I die.

Heaven is the house of God. The perfect place in which the Lord dwells to look upon his creation. As the Bible states Heaven is a place with the streets lined with Gold and the heavenly bodies parsing God. Unlike earth I believe that Heaven existed just as God did. Though never really proven to exist you see it mention countless times in the bibles and it was portrayed as the place where Jesus went to make room for his followers. I believe that heaven is incorrectly displayed on earth as you hear many songs and slogans say heaven on earth or this is heavenly. This may accurately portray heaven because it is a place with no imperfection or sins but it is also a place in which God lives meaning that there is no place close to matching it. Since heaven is without imperfection or sin the only way there is through a perfect and sinless being. Thus the only way to heaven is through Jesus. The bible states that that Jesus said no man can get to the father except through me. This clearly states that Jesus must be the way to heaven. And looking upon his life you can see that Jesus is a perfect being sinless and always the example on how Christians should conduct themselves. The bible says that if you confess with your mouth and believe with your heart then you shall be saved. This notion I think is saying that the only way to be free

It's a place where sorrow and pain will be eliminated (Revelation 21:4), righteousness and godliness encapsulates it (2 Peter 3:13) and it's eternal, not bound by the constraints of time (2 Corinthians 5:1). The descriptions of heaven in Scripture paint such a beautiful picture that it is at times so hard to imagine living in this world that is the exact opposite. Why would I settle for living according to a world that is dominated by Sin? Are you willing to do whatever it takes, not settling for this world, but to obtain all that heaven is? The escape route from this world's problems, from this world's darkness and sorrow is found in the word of God.…

What will happen to me when I die? Eternal life is for all of God’s people but only those who repent and have been saved through Jesus Christ may enter in to heaven. By turning away from sin (repentance) and accepting Christ in your heart (salvation), you are saved (grace) and you can live an eternal life in heaven. (John 3:16) (Luke 18:18-30) The alternative is hell, “the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.”…

when We hear "Kingdom of heaven" A lot of people assume a lot of things. Yancey was able compare these two assumption to what the people thought while Jesus was on earth and what people think during this time he is no more alive to correct our thought. He discovered There is no much difference with what this two era thought, I agree with what Yancey is saying here I feel like our thought hasn't really changed. I also like how Yancey gives scenario relating to life. He wrote the kingdom is not like a "business" it's not meant for only certain people but it's for everyone and anybody. This kingdom is based on the person's choice not wealth or any other feature we might think. During the time was Jesus preaching he was not telling people the kingdom of God is by "force" or everyone as must go to the kingdom, but it's about choice and this kingdom is within us with rules different from the ones we know on earth, with no geography therefore the kingdom is a place for everyone who as chosen to go…

Essay On Day Of The Dead

This is neither Heaven or Hell but in between. Those who have been born into the world or died before they were ever baptized still carry the burden of the original sin. If they are good people or innocent souls but they still have the original sin they cannot go to Heaven but they will not be sent to Hell. So they are sent to what is theorized as Limbo. In Christian theories is has also been known as the intermediate place. Souls are thought to generally live in a state of natural happiness till the end of time in the intermediate place or Limbo. The function of Limbo is that it serves as a place for souls to go to when they are not welcomed in either Heaven or Hell. It is a place of resting for the souls who do not have a…

Heaven A. On the other hand, “Those who die in God’s grace and friendship and are perfectly purified live for ever with Christ” (CCC 1023). We define heaven as “[The] perfect life with the Most Holy Trinity” (CCC 1024) and brings us absolute happiness, being the ultimate end of our human longings (CCC 1024). The properly oriented use of our free will, doing the will of God and offering up our own, helps open us up more fully to God’s grace and friendship.…

Susie Salmon, a girl who died at the age of 14 and went to heaven is truly inspirational. She is a girl who not only told us a story about how she died but also how the people on earth reacted to that death. She tells this story from her heaven. Not just any heaven, her own personal heaven. Where everything she could possibly imagine becomes real and nothing is beyond her grasp, except life of course. Personally I believe that Susie’s view of heaven is the perfect example of what heaven should be like. I truly do believe that heaven is the perfect place and that everyone has their own individual heaven. I also believe that even though someone may have their own personal heaven that they also share that heaven with others. What I mean is that there are areas in that person’s heaven, that they are sort of sharing with another person who has passed away. To me, this makes tremendous sense, because to be honest with you, I do not see how any one person could imagine a place that no one else has ever imagined. Susie’s heaven is a beautiful place, full of all the things she loves and enjoys, and you would have to be crazy to think that heaven is anything but perfect. Heaven is what most people look forward to after life. It is what most people want after death, and if heaven is not anything like Susie saw it, then what would be the point exactly? If heaven is not as perfect or as nice as it is presumed to be, then it would not exist. So I truly do believe that Susie had a excellent and positive view of heaven that I could agree…

Occasionally, we experience a glimpse of Heaven while we are still on this earth, Such as when we encounter something so beautiful that it makes us long for something indescribable. It also gives some people a feeling that the earth is not their home. Lewis says we are so caught up in this world we become unaware of Heaven. He quotes that “we are like an ignorant child who will go on making mud pies because we don’t know about the better things in life.” We tend to busy ourselves with worldly affairs and end up falling into materialism. I personally have experienced this by getting caught up in my responsibilities and entertainment so I often don’t think of…

    A Christian Worldview

I have learned through the past seven weeks that there are many religions that do not believe the same thing and as a Christian I need to be open-minded to what they believe as well as what I believe. I believe when I die that I will go to heaven and live with God and the ones who have passed before me. Others may believe in reincarnation; which is “taught by Eastern religions, this is the cycle of birth and death and rebirth. Life is not heading toward some spiritual heaven but is locked into this endless cycle.” (Cosgrove, M.P., 2006; p. 133) I believe that God tests us continuously to see if we are strong enough to continue to commit to Him and His word.…

Question of Destiny. Is there life after death? What will happen to me when I die? The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Though not everyone will go to heaven, the wicked are cased down to hell. Everyone stands accountable for their life decisions at the end. Depending on how you lived your life depends on what will happen to your…

Purgatory is mostly a result of Dante’s imaginative creation. Medieval Christian theologians had concluded that Christian who led saintly lives had to be distinguished from those who tended to fall to the vices. These were the people, who despite receiving God’s mercy, made mistakes, and therefore had to be purified before being in the company of God. Jeffrey T. Schnapp, Professor of romance and comparative literatures at Harvard University says, “Christian theologians had long recognized that there existed a logical necessity for a place in between Hell’s eternal torments and Paradise’s eternal beatitude.”…

No matter what religion someone believes in, if they believe in any religion at all, most people can agree on the fact that we are not going to live forever here on earth, we are going to die. No one knows when they are going to or how it will happen, but dying is a part of life, the end of a life. However, even though most of us can agree that we will all die, we do not all agree on what happens after the fact. Shintoism and Taoism (Daoism) have two interesting ways of looking at death and the afterlife.…
