1) During World War II, America fought a 2 front war in the Pacific and in Europe. Compare and contrast these two different fronts. Make sure to describe the differences and similarities. Look at the different Axis powers, strategies, battles (both land, air & sea), and the weapons used and combat leadership.
2) At the conclusion of World War II, the public was allowed to see the massive amounts of human suffering that had been inflicted on the world by the Axis powers. From Europe to Asia, millions upon millions of non-combatants lay dead. Describe the Allied response to this wanton murder and brutality. How did the Allies deal with war crimes?
