Holocaust Book Report
I would like to read more books on this topic because while reading this book I found the facts that the book had very interesting. One of the things that the book said was that more than 6 million Jews were killed during the holocaust. I found this fact captivating because I asked myself, why were so many people killed during a short period of time? If Iread more books on the topic of the holocaust i think it will help answer why so many people were killed. Even though there isn’t a logical answer to this question reading more books on this issue will help answer why people thought they should kill 6 million Jews. 6 million people dying in a 5 year time span is not something you usually hear, that is why i want to read more books on that topic. By, reading other books on this subject I can read why other people would kill 6 million people. In the text it says “ The Nazis blamed the bad times in Germany on a weak government and on Jews.” This quote shows that the Nazi’s killed 6 million Jews because they thought Jews were responsible for the bad times in Europe. If I read other books on this concern I could understand why Jews were always blamed for all the wrong throughout history. Anne and her family had to go into hiding for their safety. Reading about Anne and her family going into hiding was intriguing and i would like to read more books about Jews going into hiding. I want to read how different families or individuals went into hiding because I want to know where diferent people went into hiding or how they managed to say in hiding with so many Nazi supporters around. In the text it says “ Anne and her family weren’t the only ones who had to go into hiding. Jews throughout Europe had to go into hiding for their own safety.” This quote shows that there are many different books to read about this subject, and I would like to read those books. I would like to read more books on this subject because there are many things to learn about the holocaust. I like history in general so that is another reason I would like to read more books on the holocaust. By reading more books on the Holocaust I can understand why people went into hiding?, why Europe was a dangerous place for Jews? I will be able to understand many more things about the Holocaust.
