Home Care Agencies
There are three types of home health care agencies all of which provide patients with a variety of health care services in the comfort of the patient’s homes; Certified Home health agencies, Licensed Home care agencies and Long-term Home health care programs. Certified Home health agencies supply homebound patients with physician approved skilled care or rehabilitation services that have been deemed medically necessary. Nurses, nutritionists, social workers, counselors, rehabilitation therapists are sent into a person’s home to educate and provide skilled care. Licensed Home care agencies also supply skilled care performed by nurses but also offer certified home health aides to assist with personal care, homemaker and housekeeping duties.

Hospice is for people who have a terminal illness and are only expected to live six months or less if disease process takes its normal course.
