First of all, home economics is not just for a select group of people. It digs deeper into living in society alone and teaches the importance of staying within a budget as well as keeping good credit. Home economics even goes as far to prepare students for not only jobs like nannies, but occupations going into health and far much more. It is important for students to gain nutritional knowledge and learn how to live in contaminated environments.
