in the school, so outside people think they go to the school. If homeschooled students want to learn at their own pace, stay out of trouble, and want to be in sports, I believe that, that is okay. I think that they should be able to play and be in school sports and activities. Like, if the homeschooled student meets all the school requirements for the school sport, then I wouldn’t see why they should not be able to participate in it just as well as other students. As well as some homeschoolers that are home schooled and would like to go to public school to play sports have to change to public schooling. Homeschooled parents pay the same amount of taxes as the public school parents as well, which has started more discussion about the topic. Some states do not allow a homeschooled student to participate in public school activities and sports. But, like Iowa, they do. I personally think it's a good idea for homeschooled students to be in public school sports and activities because they learn great lessons on how to be in a sport, they make friends, and they are just like any other student, they just learn, and like to be taught at a different pace and way!
