Homeless Families During The Great Depression

During The Great Depression people suffered with finding shelter, staying healthy, and getting a job. Most families did not have shelter and had to live in things like piano boxes, rusted cars, and orange crates. Homeless people often built shantytowns around cities and around the nation. A lot of homeless families that have children struggled to keep their children healthy because they had no money for health care. Having no health care for the kids led to many health problems. Many married women struggled to get a job because some people thought that women had no right to work when there were men who still needed jobs. Women who did have jobs never got paid as much as the men did. There are so many ways people struggled during The Great Depression
