Homeless People Thesis

For my final project the topic I selected was “homeless people”. The reason I selected this topic is because everyone for as long as I’ve known are quick to judge and criticize but nobody really asks how that person ended up being homeless. I don’t live in the best neighbored and I see homeless people on a daily basis. People have this wrong opinion about homeless people that I don’t agree with which is the reason I’ve been working on this proposal for the community to help. There are approximately three different homeless people within the community I live in. There are two men and one woman. My project consists on helping them with clothes, food and blankets. If everyone on my neighborhood can donate twenty-dollars on a monthly basis we can
Seeing people suffer is just not human and I just can’t seem to understand on how everyone is just so careless. Now a day you even have the option to adopt a homeless person which to me this is amazing and truly helpful. I’ve been a caregiver my entire life and sometimes people criticize and judge not knowing what really happened to that person. I believe everyone has a past but also a future and your past shouldn’t determine your future. Homeless people are homeless because they lost everything at one point in their life and they never had the support of anyone to help them. Most homeless people have dogs because they feel neglected and dogs are a human best friend. Many homeless individuals are also very talented and bright people. Encouraging these people and helping them see that it’s not over for them can even help them get out of the streets. This is a process because most have addition problems but there is so much help out there that they just need guidance and compassion that someone does care. I know that with the help of a community this is possible, consistency and effort can make anything
