Homelessness, I believe is a serious problem in our society that affects many people. Homeless people can’t control the factors that cause this problem. I believe homelessness is an important issue to all communities, but specifically smaller communities, because of the lack of support systems. I think that teenagers should be knowledgeable about this important topic because it could in reality affect them in the future. Being the next generation may give them the foresight to their possible destiny. Homelessness is a more prominent problem in more densely populated areas like Melbourne and Sydney. Job opportunities (like the Big Issue) should be offered to the homeless for them to earn money. The shelters and organisations should be given more funds to expand their business for the homeless. Throughout the Bible, it gives ethical and moral beliefs about homelessness that should be believed by those who want to. My ideas haven’t changed after this research; I still believe that the Bible is trying to help people understand how to help the homeless. Before the research, I believed that Churches across Australia would be opening up their doors to the homeless and giving them the support and encouragement they needed.
