Meanwhile, Jackson is has his classes with different people. Some with his friends some not. Kate just goes to classes as a homeroom so her friends are in all of her classes except for Carly who isn’t in her homeroom. Sara has mixed classes in high school because, well, it’s high school so everyone is all mixed up into different classes. About a forty minutes later the kids rushed to their next class. In James’ class, which is language arts, they have an assignment to write about their parents and what they like.
“Class, this assignment will be due on Wednesday so you should start working on it soon!” The teacher explained.
“Well this is a great assignment.” James whispered sarcastically to Jacob.
“Yeah you bet.” Jacob replied. They both silently laughed and then smiled. THen their focus came back to the teacher. Before they knew it class was over.
Later on the kids got back on the bus and rode back home. When they walked into the house the father was sitting at the kitchen table doing his work while the mom was sitting on the couch reading.
“How was school?” The mother asked all of them.
“Great! I only have math homework and it’s only six problems!” Kate
