Homework is bad because kids will not have enough time to get exercise or a good night's sleep. Abeles study shows, “Only 8% of teenagers get the recommended nine or more hours of sleep” (Abeles, 2016). If homework keeps kids up late and they cannot get the full nine or more hours of sleep that are recommended, they will be tired in school and will not be able to focus in class very good making their grades go down.
