Honestly, Tell The Truth By Brad Blanton
I believe you should not lie to the people that are in your life. You may end up losing them from just lying. Brad Blanton states “ Get away from those people who begrudge you, even if it means losing business or friendship.” By this I mean that you can lose people that are really close to you and you may lose everybody also may even the people that you have a really good relationship with.
Author Brad Blanton states” you’re unnecessarily complicating your life by lying.” He also states “ I found that lying was pervasive in people’s personal and professional lives.” But lying is hurting people and their relationships with others. I am against lying. I think people should stop lying. I got all of that from the article Honestly, Tell the Truth.

So then you have to keep up with your lies and you have to say another lie to support that lie. Just like Brad Blanton states “ It keeps you locked in the jail of your own mind.” I got that from paragraph 7, author: Brad Blanton. and title: Honestly, Tell the Truth. It connects with my point cause it talks about exactly what I talk about. Brad Blanton states “ You have to remember what you told each person.
You have to keep up with your lies and you may have to say another lie to support that one lie you said. I got that from paragraph 7, author: Brad Blanton, and article: Honestly, Tell the Truth. That has happened to my sister before cause she told my mom she doesn’t have homework. Then she got in trouble on parent teacher conference. This supports me because it talks about how people have lie for a lie to support the other one.
From the passage Lies, Lies by Paul Gray, Michael Duffy, Priscilla Painton, and Elizabeth Rudolph state“ lies in the interest of the liar.” I got that from the article The U.S. Political Campaign. It states that people don’t want to feel guilty or don’t want to explain what really happened. My argument can speak by saying that how is lying going to help you in life and how is it going to benefit you. This supports me because my argument is against

I think it is good that you shouldn't say anything at all instead of lying, but in the book, this is said to be the cruelest type of lies. Stereotypes create lies because a group of people's actions caused bad things to happen. Some lies are straightforward, and purpose is to avoid the truth all together. It's seems that the author believes lying is important in order to not hurt peoples feelings and to be successful and happy. Being dishonest is a cover-up for pain, hurt, guilt, or ignorance. I don't agree with author in something's that she says. It is true that lying may cover up pain, but the truth will always solve the problem.…

An issue that has been highly controversial regarding honesty has been whether it is ever right to lie. Some people would argue that lying is not always morally wrong. From this perspective, telling a lie can be beneficial because the truth sometimes causes more damage than a lie would. To illustrate, a person might lie about how someone looks so that they are not offended. However, others argue that it is never morally right to lie. Stephanie Ericsson, who maintains this view, argues in her essay “The Ways We Lie” that “When someone lies, someone loses” (425). According to this view, a lie always leads to someone being negatively affected. Therefore, lying is wrong because it always results in someone being harmed. In sum, the issue is whether lying is moral or immoral.…

The debate over the acceptability of lying is a complicated one. Some feel that it is morally wrong and only ever worsens a situation. Others feel that it is acceptable in cases where feelings could be hurt, or if a person’s self-esteem may be lowered. However, there are instances in which lying happens simply to avoid the consequences of a person’s actions, and most would agree that it is morally wrong. Instead of going back and forth between “lying is wrong” and “lying is okay sometimes,” a better use of our time would be learning to improve our honesty with ourselves and with the people around…

First off let me start of by saying that we lie. We all do. We exaggerate, we leave out things, we avoid confrontation, we try to be inconsideration of other people feelings, we conveniently forget some aspects of the truth and even keep secrets. Like most people, I find myself in situations of small falsehoods and still think of my self of an honest person. Sure I lie, but it’s not really bothering anyone or anything.…
