How Did Christianity Influence Western Civilization

There are many different ways that religion has shaped the way of western civilization. Christianity has always been such a huge topic of discussion and continues to grow throughout society. Christian influence on values, beliefs, and practices in western culture are very abundant. From reading the bible and other books on Christianity it really shows how much of an influence it has on peoples lives. Also with the formations of churches throughout the world and all of the followers that it contains shows for itself how much of an effect Christianity has on the world. When the religion was first created there wasn’t even half as many followers as it has today. This religion continues to be one of the most practiced religions and will continue over time.
It has been a big influence on women in such ways as condemning divorce, incest, birth control, abortion, and adultery.
