How Did Christopher Columbus Change The Mind
Christopher Columbus was an italian explorer who needed funding in order to start his expedition. Columbus was ready to sail for whatever country would pay for his voyage. He went to Portugal, England, and France to ask for help. In spite of everything Portugal rejected Columbus’ plan twice and England and France were not interested in the topic. In 1486 Columbus decided to try to get Spain to fund the expedition. When he went to spain he talked to the spanish Monarchs, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, who said they would think about the idea.
