How Did Japan Lose World War II?

World War 2 was one of the biggest wars in history. Japan started WW2 for the US by attacking Pearl Harbor. There was many important battles that the United States had win in order to not lose the war. Two were Midway and D-Day. The Holocaust was a big issue in the war, which was started by Adolf Hitler. Japan got what they deserved by making the United States drop two atomic bombs.
Pearl Harbor was an attack on a US naval base by Japan. On the morning of December 7, 1941, hundreds of Japanese fighter planes struck the base. More than 2,000 American sailors and soldiers were dead and 1,000 were wounded (http://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/pearl-harbor). In the attack almost 20 naval vessels and over 300 airplanes, eight of the ships were large battle ships, were destroyed. President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked congress to declare war on Japan the next day and they approved it, the US just entered WWII. Japan was allied with the Nazis.
He was born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau, Austria (http://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/adolf-hitler). Later on in life he took control of the German government in 1933 after he was powerful in the National Socialist German Workers Party. That same year he started the Holocaust on January 30th. Hitler and the Nazis started WWII by invading, attacking, and taking part of Poland on September 1, 1939. Later on in the war Hitler killed himself shortly before Germany’s defeat. On April 30, 1945 Hitler was in his bunker in Berlin, Germany where he took a cyanide pill to poison himself and then shot himself committing suicide. His wife Eva Braun committed suicide by ingesting poison. They tested some pills on their dog Blondi, an Alsatian, to test their efficiency. The Russians were only a day or so from taking the city and Hitler knew they were going to lose so he decided to end it all by him and his wife committing suicide and also killing their dog with her
