Martin Luther King Jr. said in his speech the he wanted his family and children to be able to be around white families and their children like on of his quotes in his “I Have a Dream” speech, “I have a dream that one day on the Red Hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood” which meant that he wants everyone to be able to sit down together and not worry about race.
Another thing that I think was the most important is how much he cared about everyone else and how he felt that everyone needed to be equal, like one of my favorite quotes by Martin Luther King Jr. was “ With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we …show more content…
stood in front of thousands of people to state what he thought was important. He wasn't scared to present a speech in front of thousands and thousands of people to tell what he thought mattered even if people didn’t agree, he didn’t care, and he didn’t back down, and a lot of people now are scared to say what they think matters even though they shouldn’t be scared to say their opinion even if people don’t like it, it could be in front of 3 people or 300 people. If someone is getting nervous in a presentation they should think about Martin Luther King Jr. and how he didn’t get scared and he could effect many people to not be scared to say what they think
