The economy would collapse if they didnt have slave’s so they could stay wealthy and and be successful slaves were really good on money. You would get a person to work for you all day and not have to pay them every day (or at all). You just buy a slave and there yours forever, They were a possestion
Slavery helped get produce and products get done quicker. If it only took two men working in a big field they would never get as much done in one day.
Slavery had already existed so if others could do it why couldn’t they

It is not fair to make only black people work for the white brittish people. Its discriminating black people for there colour of skin so therefore they shoud be treated differently. That is not fair to African Americans.
Slavery goes against the decleration of independance. In the decleration of Independance it states that all men should be treated equally. If some are being treated cruelly then isint that going against the decleration.
Slaves were sometimes harshly beaten almost to the point of being killed
Slaves had no freedom. They had no right to walk off the plantation they were set upon without the permission of their Master.
Some families were constantly separated from each other. A mother's daughter may have been sold to another plantation, and they may have never seen each other again.
No human being should be treated like an animal. Blacks were not created to be handled and abused by the
