How Did The Industrial Revolution Change American Society
The Industrial Revolution: America flourished and was built on industrial revolutions. But within all of its glory, real life for the regular person/kid wasn’t too good. There were many advancements, and they brought great things, but there is always this trend of a lower-class human that is clearly visible in each generation and industrial revolution. The first revolution brought the usability of machines in processing goods, making it really efficient. This brought focus on making the most amount of money and using the newest technology. Of course with this, many, many people fall behind or slip between the fingers of the greed that started so early on. Mass production brought with it child labor, harsh working conditions, and ease in creating goods for the people. The main plus of industrialization was that certain people were getting rich off of the harmful labor of often children, but life was getting easier for other people. And many new inventions were being created which is beautiful to see how much is achievable from nothing and how we were able to make all these things and give them all a purpose. But back then as well, the most common living status was having a tenant life which was not very private nor had much room for the people inside, which often led to them mostly hanging outside. The fourth industrial revolution has made the most advancements in technology and electricity than any other and that has been its main focus. Of course, with having a main focus, you cannot have everything perfect. Even now, there is a lot of child slavery and labor, as well as life in not-too-good areas where kids grow up in a bad environment and there is a lot of poverty. There is also a lot of business and money being made, but usually by the same people who have always been making
