and I got to tell her how I'm doing in school and basketball. I can also go on social media and catch up with my friends from Florida and Philippines. I cherish my friendships and being able to talk to my friends through Wifi has kept me from growing apart from them. From time to time, my mom shows me pictures and videos of my family from the Philippines that she saw on Facebook. It's nice to know what they're up to and to see the new things that they are experiencing. Wifi has helped me keep in touch with my friends and family from around the world. Another example of how Wifi has changed my life, is how it encouraged me to learn new things and information. When the Presidential Election was still going on, I was on snapchat and they would update me on who is leading. Also, it would tell me which states were swing states and the candidates popular vote percentage. In addition, whenever I go through my Instagram feed, I would read or see sports facts. The Sportscenter account tells me when somebody breaks a statistic record in NBA or NFL. Finally, I learn new information from Google. Before I try to search something, there's always an image and it represents a time in history or other facts. I have learned many important facts about events, history, sports, the government and more from Wifi. Lastly, Wifi changed my life because it made me realize about money responsibilities and the way to use it wisely.
My parents have a plan that has unlimited data and texts which they pay $100 a month. Now that there is free wifi at the mall, Starbucks and other places, they don't have to worry about paying extra money for my data. I have the ability to turn off my data and use Wifi. I had to buy a book last year for my reading class, that cost $20 and now I don't have to spend that much money because I could use google and look up online versions of the book, as a result of having Wifi. Also in case of emergency, my mom uses a bank app and she transfers money to my account. She gives me about $50 a month and whatever I don't use goes to my savings. I can save a lot of money and I know to budget myself from Wifi. In conclusion, Wifi is the invention that has changed my life the most. My family and friends might live miles and miles away from me, but it is easy and convenient to talk to them through Wifi. I have also been more exposed to the things that are happening around the world and I have knowledge about diverse things. In fact, it has even taught me to spend money wisely and to be responsible. These are the plethora ways of how Wifi is a big part of my everyday
life.
