How Did William G. Morgan Use Volleyball?
Everyone probably knows the sport volleyball right? Well everyone probably knows something about volleyball, but they probably don't know all of it. Such as the inventor, the name and background, or even the rules and regulations.
William G. Morgan invented volleyball in 1895. Just four years after James Naismith invented basketball. He was born in Lockport, New York on January 23,1870. William was the oldest, and smartest, of his his siblings. Although he was raised in New York William moved Springfield, Illinois for college. He later married Mary King Caldwell.
