How Did William Shakespeare's Influenced His Works

William Shakespeare wrote many plays, poems, and sonnets. His topics included tragedy, comedy, and even history. He has changed the way we look, think, and even talk. Even though it has been over four hundred years since he has passed away, plays he wrote like Romeo and Juliet will never be forgotten. William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1564 and died in 1616. Shakespeare got married in 1582 to a woman named Anne Hathaway. They then ended up have three kids they named Susanna, Hamnet, and Judith (William). It was in 1592 that he actually started working with literature. He started out as an actor and a playwright for the Lord Chamberlain’s men (William). In 1592, he started working as an actor, and around this time was when he started first writing. From then on he wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets.
He was born in a time where boys were studying poetry, which increased his influence in poetry. He wrote about a lot of the diverse cultures he encountered when he was acting. There were positions where people stood in society called “British peer and nobility” that Shakespeare put in his writings a lot. Religion was huge when it came to that period, it was another influence that showed in his work. Out of all 37 plays that he wrote the ones that are mainly taught and learned are Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet. Hamlet is a tragedy and was inspired from his son dying at a young age. It is about a prince who is depressed. He finds out that King Hamlet was killed by his brother Claudius. After finding that out he wants to avenge his father’s death so he goes off and tries to prove that it was Claudius who killed him by setting the same scene that happened when his father was killed.
