How Did William Tecumseh Sherman Hope To Come True?

William Tecumseh Sherman made a prediction about the war. His predictions had mostly succeed in being true. The war as he predicted became bloody, and gruesome. Many people had witnessed this. Sadly, for his predictions to come true, many people had to lose their lives. Although, many people had not wished for a war, it came. In April 1861, Henry’s grandma says in Theodore Upson, “There is their home. There they will stay. Oh, to think that I should have lived to see the day when brother should rise against brother…” One nation, split in two to fight a war against each other.
