How Did World War 1 Affect Society
World War I had many effects on every country especially the ones who were themselves involved in the war. We could possibly say most of the European countries were affected from this war. World War I started in 1914 and ended in 1918. World War I was the house of many European countries yet also Japan involved itself in a short period of time. World War One, being the most significant event in Europe in the 20th century, and possibly in the whole world's history, had a tremendous effect on British soldiers, society, and values, therefore making it the strong, powerful country it is today. There are many lists of countries were in this war involving USA, Ottoman Empire, Germany, France, Italy and many others.

This was one of the biggest turn for the start of World War I. The War had been started for these two countries but other countries like France and Germany involved themselves too. In Europe, colonialism was the one of the biggest effect for this war. There were always mixed feelings between countries economically and politically. Also, countries started to become armed; it was the most important effect to start this war. USA and England started to become powerful internationally. After this war, some of the countries started having problems in their own country. As a result of this war death of empires and the birth of nations, and in national boundaries being redrawn around the world. It ushered in prosperity for some countries, while it brought economic depression to others. Germany had Nazi’s, Italy had fascism and Russia had communism. Communism, Fascism, and Nazism were three types of government that intended to make life better for the people.
The Treaty of Versailles (1919) was the peace treaty that officially ended World War I between the Allied and Associated Powers and the German Empire. On one side, we have Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy, which formed the Triple Alliance. Germany and Austria-Hungary were already allies by 1879 when, worried about a threat from Russia, they formed the Dual Alliance. Italy joined the group in 1882.
