How Does Anne Frank Change Throughout The Book

The Diary of Anne Frank is a wonderful and very interesting book. It was written by Anne Frank herself during WWII, it is an autobiography over how Anne and her family went into hiding and the effect the war had on their lives. She writes about how she feels about herself and how she feels about the other people. Anne comes to relies how precious life is. She learns not to take anything for granted because in a blink of the eye it could all disappear. This book takes place in Amsterdam, Holland during WWII. Anne, her family, and some friends are staying in the Secret Annex which is their hideout. In this this book Anne is a dynamic, protagonist character. Anne changes a lot throughout the book. First she goes through puberty which is always a big change in everyone, she also comes to realize who she wants to be, which is a big change because most girls her
Anne tells us about her love interest and how she has her own little way of getting rid of boys she didn’t like. Later on Anne finally finds a guy she likes but shortly after they have to go into hiding. Anne and her family joined with the Van Daan’s hide in the Secret Annex which they stay there for about two years. During these years Anne describes to us the hardships of being in hiding and how it effects each and every person. She writes about how the food is and how they survive. Anne tells us about how the people do and do not get along, and how relationships are made and how some are destroyed. There is an internal and external conflict in this book, the internal is how Anne fights with herself constantly, not being able to figure out who she wants to be and how no one understands her.
