How Does Churchill Show Courage

Something Churchill is remembered for is his outstanding courage. You could say Churchill had courage or courageousness running in his veins and seeping out of his pores. Wherever he went he would always bring up the spirits of the people around him and you could always see him with the top hat and one of his huge cigars. Through his courage, he could make anyone a believer, or he could make anyone go to war for him. For example, in the Darkest Hour, when Churchill goes down to the tube, he inspires people to fight for him and he gets inspired by them. Through his commitment to being honest and loyal to his people, he could make anyone a believer. Churchill had the courage to speak the truth and he always told people how he felt, and he never held anything back. Churchill had the guts to speak the truth when the odds were stacked against him and the risks were high.
Through his vision, Churchill is able to see and think of a way to get the troops off of the Dunkirk port through his Operation Dynamo. Also, he is able to see through his vision that signing the peace treaties would only make things worse for Britain and he was right about not signing them. Finally, Churchill’s optimism, through his optimism he is able to instill hope into his people and the war cabinet about how they are going to make through this war and they can only go up from here on out. Through one of his greatest traits, which was his confidence, he instilled that his stubbornness and his lack of care for the peace treaty would be key factors on how the war was going to play out in Britain.
