Culture affects every aspect of life. One’s cultural Identity is affected by, family, ethnicity, and tradition. Cultural identity if affected from childhood memories to adult experiences. Different experiences and memories make someone's view of the world different.In this essay we are going to argue that culture plays a large rule in one’s view of the world.
Family affected who you are and who you become when you grow up. Family here when you happy and family is here when you sad. Family also here when something goes really wrong like when some pass away. Family can help you in life or they can not help you in life. Family come together to have fun when like thanksgiving or when it's someone's birthday. In the personal essay “Ethnic Hash” by Patricia J.williams page.11, she is invited to a book party where she is going to bring a dish that represents her ethnic heritage. She talks about how diverse her cultural background is and how her West African Ethnicity plays a large role in her cultural identity. She talked about how her father used to cook food in Georgia when she would visit him, “His specialties are pork chops and pies; he makes the good-luck black eyed peas on New Year’s. His recipes are definitely black in a regional sense, since most blacks in the United States until recently lived in the southeast”.
