How Does Daniel Gambon Present The Character Of The Giver
The actors in my movie are Michael Gambon portraying the giver, Mackenzie Foy portraying Fiona when she was 12 and 12 year old Daniel Huttlestone portraying Jonas. I chose Michael Gambon to portray the giver because I felt he would be the perfect fit. Michael Gambon was the actor who portrayed Dumbledore in all of the Harry Potter movies except for the first one. I feel he did a great job portraying Dumbledore. Dumbledore is very similar to the giver so whatever Michael Gambon did to portray Dumbledore, he can use to portray the giver. In Harry Potter he looked very old and had lots of hair which would make him perfect to portray the giver. Also he looks really kind compassionate and and in his previous movies he was very knowledgeable. especially knowledgeable. …show more content…
The first component is that she has red hair. This is very important to the story because this led to Jonas’ ability to see color. Also I feel that Jonas would think of her as pretty which would enable him to have the “stirrings” with her. Jonas said “I wanted to bathe her” during his stirring. Also she is an experienced actor who would be able to fit into the role. Lastly, I would choose Daniel Huttlestone to play Jonas because he has blue eyes which makes him different. Also he looks curious and the innocent type. In addition he was a little boy in the movie Les Miserables and he acted very well. Furthermore he is exactly how I had pictured Jonas. I chose this slogan to represent my movie. “The world is a tragedy for those who feel”-Horace Walpole. This is what the government in The Giver makes the society feel. They don’t allow the people to have any feelings so one of their mottos could be “The world is a tragedy for those who feel.” If Jonas wasn’t the receiver of memories then he wouldn’t know what feelings would be like and it what be a good motto to represent the

As Red, Morgan Freeman has an even more difficult role: the benevolent narrator trying to understand the hero for us. Red does so much observing and explaining that we may begin to wonder if he is really a character or just a device. Only at the end is Red Redding allowed to come into his own, and it's a tribute to Freeman that his massive presence and canny delivery of lines (and even cannier pauses) imbue Red with a complexity and attractiveness that keep us hooked from his first appearance to his…

Over time, as the slaves grew more displeased with their lives, many decided to run away and escape to symbolize that they were unhappy. Others slowed down production by faking illnesses, breaking tools and other things such as accidently burning the barn and foot-dragging. An example of foot-dragging is that when a slave is ordered to bring a bush of cotton to their owner, the slave would purposely drag their feet and take their time, thus slowing down the process of production. Slaves would also “fix” their masters meals by adding a secret ingredient. An example of this is that when a slave is serving any meal in general, they would spit onto their owners’ food before placing it onto the dining table.…
