and our family is very concerned about him. He could die or kill a family in a split-second because he couldn't think correctly because of the alcohol. We often tell him that one day he will regret ever drinking because he will kill someone or he will die and not be able to see us grow up. We are largely affected by his bad choices. His poor choices are constantly worrying us because we don't know if the next time we see him could be our also time seeing him.
Teens that drink often don't notice that if will impact their future because at this age we are very impulsive. If we start drinking now we could get addicted or kill someone. Not only are they risking their lives but also a criminal record that would haunt them for the rest of their lives. If teenagers make a choice now to drink and make poor choices it could follow them around for the rest of their lives. The reaction time of a person slows down when they are under the influence which increases the chances that an accident will occur. Not only is the reaction time low but also their brain function is as if it were off and they make poor choices. They have a change in personality sometimes and can make poor choices without remembering it the next day but it could hurt them and their families for the rest of their lives. Drunk driving will affect everyone around you and it is a poor choice you should never make. Ways to avoid driving under the influence is having a designated driver, asking if you can stay over for the night, calling someone to drive you home, not going anywhere where you would drink and taking a
taxi. The best way to prevent this from every happening is to never drink. As kids, we all took vows to never drink or take drugs. If everyone followed that promise there would be fewer accidents and remorse. If we teach children more vigorously in high school and college we could also prevent more deaths. Accidents from being under the influence will hurt your lives and others and it is not something to play with. Don't drink and drive.
