How Does Jesus Serve Others

No matter how old we are, we could always help other people. There are lots of tasks big and small that can’t be done alone. In To Kill A Mockingbird, Jem helped Scout with a lot of things. Not only have my brothers helped me, but I have seen them help other people as well. In seventh grade bible class, we studied how Jesus served others and the different miracles he performed. Serving others is a strong belief of mine, and not only have I learned how Jesus served others in bible class, but Jem showed it to me, as well as my brothers.
In the book To Kill A Mockingbird, I feel the closest to the character Jem, Scout's older brother. Jem does everything he can to keep Scout protected. Jem explained everything to Scout that she didn’t understand. He taught her how to read, before she could go to school. Jem and Scout were best friends, and nothing could have changed that. Scout looked up to Jem, and wanted to be like him.
In bible class in middle school I have learned how much Jesus served others. Jesus served others in so many ways. He has performed many miracles and healed many people. He turned water into wine, and turned five loaves of bread and five fish to feed five thousand people. After someone very close to him died, he raised him from the dead. I always thought they were just around to annoy me, but just recently I have learned my theory wasn’t true. My perspective on my siblings were a lot different three years ago, then they are now. I now believe that my brothers are around not only to annoy me, but to give me helpful advice, and help me through any difficulties life throws at me. They have showed me a ton of examples of serving others in my life.
