Fear has the ability to control a person’s decision by the consequences and how it will effect in the future. The fear of decision, or decidophobia, can be a sign of depression by having a thought of making the wrong choices and suffering the consequences. To illustrate, when I was in a mall, I entered a shop where it has priceless items; however, I would have pay a large amount of money to obtain an item I was seeking for, or obtain a miniature version of the item that cost less that way I would still have enough money for a time when I need it. Then, when trying to make a decision, I became frightened of the consequences when making a choice, because I believed it would lead to disastrous results. This emotion uses the person’s ability to speak by a result of thoughts because people are afraid to be scolded by others for communicating on what they think and their opinion. For instance, I had an experience when I tried talk to a group of people, but was too afraid of what to say or how to speak to the group. At first, I was able to get the group’s attention; however, I stuttered and became nervous when confronting them and give them my statement and try to be in the conversation. I was afraid because I thought of what will they say about my opinion on the conversation. This proves that fear is controlling the person’s communication skills by having them to be nervous.
