Technology during World War 1 reflected the development towards industrialization and the use of mass- production system to weapons and to the technology warfare. Development of the technologies included the rapid-firing guns (which are the mixture of machine guns and artilleries), this had given the team a huge advantage over other armies who were attacking. No gain of land during the trench due to the poor conditions during the 19th Century was the result of why the WW1 had occurred during that period of time. The accomplishment was only partly because of the technologies that had been used such as the telephone communications and the weaponries. Some of the weaponries were vital during the time of the War. The poison gas played a crucial role and also death-defying as it was the most feared equipment used.
Communication also was need during the battle fields as if there was a misunderstanding or communication malfunction the outcome could have been deadly. There were units at the front who needed to know where the enemies were while the commanders were busily working behind to see if there was any reliable source as they had to control their men. Most of the communications were dated highly new while others go back in history. One of those communicators was a telephone. The telephone permitted the troops to be in contact while in other fields at the same time, this allowed them to talk about what was happening on their side and where the enemies were aiming at. Back in those days, the telephones were attached to a long piece of wire and spoken into.
