In my opinion, Hitler isn’t the only human behind the Holocaust. There was more than just him. Nazi Officers, and Heinrich Himmler were also part of this horrible era. They supported this movement just as much as Adolf Hitler did. They did nothing to try to stop him, all they did was encourage him and his …show more content…
raid on Europe. If you were a follower of Hitler, then you too, were a initiator of fascist policies. Adolf Hitler was a horrible man who liked to see people suffer, for his own enjoyment.
No one tried to stop him, nor help the victims of this era. He killed over 11 million people and felt no remorse. I do not support Adolf Hitler and what he did, although it was in the past. Many people still live with it throughout everyday.
Heinrich Himmler was also a dangerous man during World War 2. He led a Nazi Party and he was the second most powerful man in Germany during the Holocaust. He was one of the main people that gave the thumbs up to the plan of murdering the Jews of Europe. During Himmler’s era, he took control of the SS and the German police officers. He controlled all police forces and kept everything in order and running smoothly. He could've put an end to this, yet he didn’t. He continued with supporting Hitler.
Another supporter of Adolf Hitler was the Nazi Officers. I feel as if they could’ve tried to stop what was happening. I also feel like they would’ve been killed if they tried to help the Jews. I put them at fault for this era also. They were being forced to work for Hitler, yet they could’ve resisted. They were scared because they wanted to live. What about the Jews? I’m one hundred percent sure they wanted to live
also.
Some might say they don’t blame neither Hitler, Himmler, nor the Nazi officers for the Holocaust. Some may say they blame God, others may say they blame the Jews for not leaving when told. People say that if God was real he would’ve helped the Jews out of this situation, yet he didn’t. Also, the Jews had plenty of time to evacuate when they were receiving warnings from people who had seen it all. (ex. Moishe The Beadle)
I feel like God had nothing to do with what Hitler, Himmler, and The Nazi Officers did. It was their choices and no one told them to do it. Also, if I was a Jew I wouldn’t have believed the people who tried to warn me either. While learning about the Holocaust I feel that, this is a great example as to why this should never happen again. We don’t want to relive the past and it can also prevent future Genocide.
