My first event that I rated was when Napoleon graduated military school in 1785 at the age of 16. I rated this a six on my out of 10 scale of importance. I rated this event a six because when he finished military school, he graduated with advanced knowledge on how to be a successful general. I didn’t rate this higher because this is before he started to make a difference for France, but I rated it over a five because this knowledge was the foundation and starting point of his career in the military. The battle didn’t last long because the royalist rebels fled the battle due to the brilliant tactics and surprise by Napoleon and his gunners. I believed this was extremely important because he successfully confused and obliterated his opponents in his very first battle for France. From this event he became known as the savior of the French Republic. The success of this battle builded up his reputation very positively and made people think that he was a potential successful leader which is why I gave this event a 10 out of 10 on the
