How Should Robots Replace The Human Roles In Health Care?
There have been enormous changes in the caring for human beings in health care systems all over the world. It has been said that healthcare robots are transforming the fields of medicine across the globe (Anandan, 2015). More and more robotics are used in healthcare to assist physicians and nurses with their daily task. The focus will be on if robotics can replace the human professionals in healthcare. First topic that will be discussed is why robotics can be necessary in healthcare and the benefits. Then what kind of robotics are already being used in healthcare systems followed by the fields of concerns of robotics.

This tele-operated robot-assisted surgical system has been used successfully on millions of patients since it was cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2000 (Anandan, 2015). A second great robotic device is the exoskeletons. With the help of these devices paralyzed people are able to walk. It can also enhance strength in order to allow a nurse to lift an elderly patient (The medical futurist, 2016). A third robotic device is the one Sannex a Texas based company produced. It is a unique robot that uses a high intensity ultra violet light to disinfect any space in a healthcare facility quickly and efficiently, which reduces the number of hospital acquired infections (The medical futurist, 2016).
