It is a sacrament. One of two sacrament, the other being baptism. Lutheran rejects the Roman Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation. In the church there are limitation for communion: 1. Christ’s body and blood are received by the mouth and not just by faith or the soul; 2. Unbelievers, not just believers, receive Christ’s body and soul; 3. Views contrary to this must be condemned.
