Firstly, The Lutheran Church. The history of Lutheranism dates back to the 16th century during a major Christian event known as the reformation. The Lutheran Church of Australia claim that their mission is to teach people to see Jesus Christ through everything in their churches this is accomplished by the sacraments they believe in. The sacraments of the Lutheran Church are as follows Baptism, the Eucharist and Penance, their non sacramental rites include Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Holy Orders and the Anointing of the Sick.
