How To Increase Illegal Immigrants In The United States

Imagine waking up every day to walk outside and see people who should not be here. Someone who illegally came here and snuck into our beautiful country, a man or woman who did not care about us or what we would think of it but only about themselves and their own future. In 2015, around 48% of immigrants were naturalized U.S Citizens. Immigration over the years has began to get worse than it has ever been in the past. As of 2014 the amount of illegal immigrants is sitting at approximately 11.3 million. However, with the new immigration laws it has made it harder for immigrants to move into our country. Since 2000 it has dropped from 12.4 million to 11.3 million as stated earlier. Even though a vast amount of people in the United States would
argue that foreign people illegally coming into our country is a good thing, and that it is perfectly fine that they do it. The truth is, it is not good or fine that they are coming in illegally, because when they do we will have more Americans without work, more people than we need, and they leave their children behind once they either leave, or get deported from our country.
One of the biggest things that can happen from immigration is Americans losing their jobs. “From 2000 to 2013 the number of natives working actually fell by 1.3 million”. (Steven A. Camarota, Par.1) What that means is less natives had work than all of the immigrants. (Steven A. Camarota, Par 1.)When most illegal immigrants come into our country looking for work they will often take a huge pay cut compared to what most Americans would ask for when working. When that happens people will hire the cheaper worker so that in the long run they will make more money. When that happens it would make it harder for people to keep up with the payments that they usually make. Once that happens the amount of unemployed Americans will begin to go up higher and higher that what it usually is. That could in the long run kill our country, because if Americans are not working then it makes everyone around them depressed, or can actually cause greed. What I mean by that is people would stay away from other people and only care about themselves compared to their friends and others. When people lose their jobs it makes it harder for them to pay their bills that they need to stay in their homes, so the amount of homeless people would also begin to go up and put Americans into the streets which would cause a huge problem.
Another Factor of illegal immigrants coming into the country would be the country getting overpopulated.
Whenever that happens it would make every other man, woman, or child in other countries think that they could just come into our country and nothing happen to them. When we allow that to happen then the problem will not ever end, but it will only continue to grow and get worse than ever. When they come in we would not have enough room for our citizens, plus everyone else that are coming in. The amount of homeless people inside of the United States would begin to shoot up due to their not being enough homes for everyone to live in. Not only would the immigrants be homeless but so could American citizens. That can be a huge problem because it could send many people into a depression which is not good for any country ever. Also, it could and would make America look bad to other
countries.
Whenever illegal immigrants move into our country and end up getting deported than they will often leave their children behind so that they can have a better life here then they would inside of their home countries. Although that may sound like something that is good and smart, it is actually a huge problem when it comes down to it. It is a problem because for all of the kids that are left behind means that the government has to pay for them. In the long run that could result in our country going into more debt than we are already in. If we could cut out paying for all of the immigrants children then we could put the extra money towards something better than that. We could put it towards making our country better than what it is and give us a much brighter future to look forward to as a nation. Also, whenever they leave their children behind, all it does is just add on even more to our population. All that would do is make things worse than they already are with our population control.
As stated earlier in the paper, immigration over the years has began to get worse than ever.
With the new immigration laws it has made it harder for immigrants to move into our country. That is a good thing because if it didn’t then we would have more Americans without work, more people than we need, and leave their children behind when they leave. I personally believe that immigration is not a good thing, and I am all for cracking down and trying to put an end to the problem, because if we do not start putting a full effort towards the problem then it will eventually be too late to do anything about it. There will be to many illegal immigrants in the U.S and we will not only begin to run out of jobs or places for citizens but we will begin to run out of food and the average rate of homeless people will start to skyrocket more than it is now. This is not a bright future for our country to be looking forward to but if we do not put an end to it right now then it is a very probable future that can come quicker than any Americans would want it
to.
