Life expectancy has been improving steadily for the last century in many countries. What do you think the three most important factors contributing to this rise have been and why? For each factor evaluate the information that you offer, suggesting the significance and consequences of the areas you describe, in order to develop your points into a useful academic analysis.

Finding ways to decrease stress and live a calmer, more peaceful existence can improve our lifespan.

People understand that well-balanced healthy diet improves body general condition.

The person during all the life is under continuous influence of the whole range of factors of environment – from ecological to social. Besides specific biological features all of them directly influence its activity, health and, finally life expectancy. Barker (2007) states that life expectancy is time between the birth and death. Sakharov (2011) supposes the approximate contribution of various factors influencing health of the population is estimated on several positions: way of life, genetics (biology) of the person, environment, nutrition, health care and others.
