How To Support Your Self-Review
You've described your current project well and how you've succeeded despite many changes and sometimes incomplete or changing requirements. You've been very flexible in many ways, including; Some sprints have lots of work and other sprints having very little work. Changing requirements. Downright odd code review criteria. Not merging with the main codebase for 8 months only to spend nearly a month doing the "mega" merge. You've handled yourself well during all of this.

Your lead consultant has said the same about you as your self-assessment. Your engagement level on your project has been a model for others and you have shown considerable interesting in learning new things. You've embraced every opportunity given to you to learn outside of

You've also helped out teammates with their tasks. This coincides with your self-review.

Going along with what you've stated you are very detail oriented and do analyze all problems and tasks you're given. You've said you think sometimes you over analyze, yet you have always delivered your tasks on time. One suggestion is to give some weight to the pragmatic solution as opposed to the perfect or theoretical solution.

Your peers and Lead Consultant support your self-review. You've taken many opportunities outside of your project to grow your skills and to have a greater understanding of how projects are run and work. Your work ethic is something that has stood out to me in the last year. In the coming year, we will look for leadership opportunities for you.

You have a unique skillset and knowledge. Your interest in being a BA has caused you to reach out and take Foundation training and take the SAFe training and pass the certification with one of the highest scores at Magenic. Combining your understanding of Agile, Foundation, and SAFe with your technical abilities give you strong if not very strong process and business knowledge

Sometimes I feel as though I’m more in stage 1 the Unreflective Thinker. Although I think, I’m unaware of how my thinking is structured or how to asses and improve it. At times when I experience problems in thinking, I feel as though I lack the skills to identify and fix the problems. Take my job for example, when dealing with irate customers I take a step back and look at it from their perspective; however, I feel as though I lack the confidence to help the customers fix their problems. There are also times when it’s busy and short drivers, I have to come up with a decision that requires me to think things through before making a final decision. Since I am a dispatcher, it is up to me to ensure the drivers arrive at their destination within twenty minutes and ensure all drivers get their turn at running calls.…

Racism: although an ongoing and prevalent issue, it is a foreign topic for many who do not experience the full effects of it on a daily basis or are sheltered from it due to their race. However, through novels, films, and social media, some hope to highlight and end the occurrence of racism. In the novel Citizen by Claudia Rankine, for example, Rankine offers an insightful view of the ongoing racism towards African Americans through descriptions of recent events and personal experiences involving racism. She specifically writes in the second person, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in the situations that African Americans face in a white-favored society and understand the frustration many African Americans…

Every task has to be performed and every work has to be done with a positive attitude. It is not the work that you do or finish within the time-scale that matters; it’s the work that has to be good too. Self Assessment

The first part of self assessing me was pretty important because it was a sum of my whole lifestyle in one. Giving me an overall look on what I should change or if I should even change any of my habits. My smoking score was a perfect 10, which was not surprising at all to me. My alcohol/drug score for this was seven points because I do drink. The score for my eating and exercising habits were perfect because I do a good job when it comes to eating right and working out on a daily. My stress control score was an eight, but I do understand why. I do know that I stress to some extent. My last score was safety and the score for that was a nine. I think my life is pretty amazing if you ask me.…
