How to tell a true Friend

Composition assignment Illustration essay

A true friend is someone who sees and encourages the best in us. A true friend hard to come by and she can be the most important person in your life. A true friend is different from your casual friends in that she is the one you can turn to in difficult times and will stand by you no matter what you are going through. While casual friends are great for an occasional night out, your true friend is the one you will cherish for the rest of your life. If you need to distinguish your true friend from an acquaintance, pay attention to how they treat you.
A true friend is someone you hold near and dear to your heart. You can tell her anything without fear of judgment or betrayal. A casual friend or acquaintance is someone you have a simple connection with. You may see him at social events, hang out with him and shoot the breeze.
Trust is the biggest predictor of a true friendship. You have to be able to tell your friend anything and know it’s safe with her. True friendship means standing up for each other even when the other is not there. For example, if you are speaking with a group of women and someone makes a snide comment about your friend, a true friend will tell the group, "It's not OK to talk about my friend" or "You must not know her very well because I've known her for years and she's not like that." A real friend goes to bat for you and always has your back. You can trust that she'll be there for you. A true friend builds you up even when your life is turned upside down. She will be there to share your joys and jump for joy with you, and she will be there when the times are tough and cry with you. A true friend thinks of you, is slow to anger and offers criticism at the right time. Even if something better comes along, your friend sticks with you.
True friends genuinely care about one another. They listen to one another and communicate their
