Specific Purpose: To demonstrate how to tie a Windsor knot.
Introduction
I. Hi, I’m Precious Brown, I will be showing you how to tie a tie. You would think tying a tie would be simple from a demonstration but it can actually be a little complicated. It can get frustrating after failed attempts, but really it is only a matter of practice. If you go online, then go to youtube.com and search how to tie a tie you will come across a quick tutorial explaining, step by step how to tie a tie. [Attention Getter]

II. There will be many social occasions where having a tie will be required. Showing you how to tie a tie will benefit your appearance. [Thesis Statement]

III. I’m going to demonstrate how to tie a Windsor knot. It’s a thick, wide triangular shape tie knot that projects confidence. A Windsor know is one of the many styles to tie a tie. You can see many other knots and ways to tie them by going to tie-a-tie.net. This knot is best suited for job interviews, or courtrooms, etc. [Relevance of Topic to Audience]

II. Once you have your tie stand in front of a mirror and follow these steps:
