Argentina is in southern South America, between the countries Chile and Uruguay. Argentina is also the second largest country in South America. The climate in Argentina is mainly temperate with dry weather in the southeast and subantarctic weather in the southwest. The highest point in Argentina is the Cerro Aconcagua at 6,960 meters and the lowest point is the Laguna del Carbon which is -105 meters. About 54% of Argentina’s land is used for agricultural use while about 11% is forest.
