How You Express Your Creative Side
Personal Statement # 2

“Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.”

Creativity is a very crucial quality to obtain. It can be expressed in many ways like problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically. Therefore, everyone is different in their own unique way. For example, I convey my creative side by having a wild imagination. Since I was a kid I enjoyed drawing. However, to start I would trace by putting a blank sheet of paper over a drawing and holding it a against a window so the light shining through would make it easy for me to trace the lines. I volunteered to attend Monterey Elementary school and Curtis Middle School to present some examples of the things we do in the health academy. For example, we brought some real pig lungs to Monterey and attached them to a tube in order for air to go through, causing it to expand and close. What I enjoyed the most was hearing those children gasp of amazement and look so interested at what they were witnessing. Furthermore, I was very surprised at how smart those kids were. For instance, we would ask them some simple questions, but some of them would tell us facts about the anatomy of a heart. That honestly astonished me but also made me radiant at how our young generation is developing. Another way I make my community better is participate in the fundraising for the varsity school soccer team in order for us to take a part in tournaments and hiking trips. Finally, I believe going to school is a way to help the community because students want to lean towards fields like police officer, doctor, nurse or firefighters and these are a few jobs of all the variety that help out the community by keeping it …show more content…
This can be the switch that turns an opportunity upside down in the blink of an eye. Respectfulness is very important for first impressions. For example, if you are being interviewed for a job and do not respect the boss, there office, or yourself as well by dressing appropriately, then chances are you are already set for a defeat. Also, if you are dealing with customers then you must give respect even if you are not receiving any to begin with because this can lead to you getting fired or the customer reporting you, causing you to get fired and giving wherever it is you are working a bad review. Therefore, respectfulness is what sets me apart from other candidates because no matter what situation I am in. I would always give

Respect is a very strong fiber of my being. My childhood made me realize that treating people the way you would like to be treated is not just something we heard in school, it should be lived by. Everyone starts off with the same level of respect from me. It does not matter one 's title, sex, race, religion, or sexual preference. If you are a living, breathing, human being I will treat you as I would like to be treated. Everyone starts off with 100% respect and then how much respect I give you in the future depends on your actions. ETHICS IN THE WORKPLACE My upbringing and personal experiences are what shaped my character of who I am today. I cannot compare the inequality I faced to others, but it was enough for me to realize that fair treatment and respect is very important to who I am and my character. When I see others being mistreated I have a deep seated urge to stand beside them and show them they are not alone. It does not matter to me if I am the only one that feels this way; I will stand up for what I believe in. I was the only straight male that joined…

Creativity is all about helping children develop their imaginative skills through exploration of different materials and ways of expressing themselves, for example this can be methods like dance, building and also traditional creative methods like painting and drawing, story time, puppets, circle games and others. Creativity is all about allowing children to express and explore themselves and take risks in doing so. This doesn’t necessarily have to be in a proper way but could be simply their own play, for example their role play is an expression of their creativity. And doing all that, during this process creative learning happens. Creativity helps for child to develop their social, physical, intellectual, emotional and communication skills. Gives opportunity for children to express their feelings. For example if child feels sad or happy, he can express that in his drawing and then someone has opportunity to ask him how he feels about it. It is very important to be sensitive and know when step in and…

From past experiences I have learned the real meaning of respect. This word is more powerful than one can imagine. With respect comes unselfishness. When people respect others, they are treated equally. My mother and father always told me to be tactful in the way I treated others, so I would also be respected. It has worked in the past and will always hold true in the future. If someone respects another with proper judgment, people feel good inside which gives them a sense of integrity. When I give respect and witness how it makes others feel, I feel like more of a person. I feel proud. Honored.…

In educational environments creative learning and creativity can have a variety of meanings. Creativity consists of traditional creative arts and the development of imagination and imaginative play, such as role play and small world play. Creativity is about helping children to find ways to express themselves through a range of arts and crafts. Creativity is about exploring emotions and expressions, therefore, the focus of creativity in this sense is only partially about producing an end product and is more about enjoying and learning from the process.…

The beauty of creativity is that everyone can contribute. People have different views and ideas; we are all gifted, and I compare the challenge of creativity to the charge that Paul gave to Timothy- “Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress” (1Timothy…

A way that I express my creative side would be through drawing, I love to draw. Many times drawing seems to work like my stress reliever. Drawing in general relaxes me and makes me feel at ease, that is why I enjoy it so much. I have developed my drawing skills every time I have my sketchbook at hand. If I see a symbol or a beautiful drawing I must draw it, and while I am drawing I get this feeling of motivation, which makes me want to draw more.…
