How I Broke My Wrist
I thought I was going to play a friendly game of football until something bad happened to me. I broke my left wrist and it hurt really badly. I learned that breaking a bone is very painful and recommend that everyone avoid anything that could cause you to get hurt in serious way like breaking a bone. It all started on the weekend when my brother and I were really bored. We decided to go up to the athletic center near our house to play basketball. Since neither of us could drive, we had to walk up to the athletic center which was not far away maybe a ten or fifteen minute walk. We got up to the athletic center and saw a lot of people we know playing basketball. We said “Hi” to them and joined their game. We played a lot of games that day, having tournaments or just playing regular pick-up games for fun. Eventually some of us got bored of playing basketball and decided to play football but no one had a football, so we weren’t going to play. Then someone said he lived real close and could go get a football. My brother didn’t want to play football and recommended I didn’t play but I like football more than basketball so I told him I wanted to play. About fifteen minutes or so later, the kid came back with a football. We could finally play. Everyone who was playing basketball with us decided to play football so my brother decided to play too. There was a football field right in front of the basketball court at the athletic center, so we went there and picked teams, and start playing. I was doing pretty good and made a touchdown, some tackles, and an interception. When I caught the interception, I started running. I thought I was going to score but I got tackled. I thought I was fine until I looked at my wrist. It looked funny, and it started hurting like crazy. I got up from the ground holding my wrist and crying, so everybody ran to see why I was crying.
